THAT’S THE ONE I’M TALKING ABOUT, ANON. I went back and re-read it a couple days ago, and I’d forgotten how much friggin research I’d done for it. And if I’m completely honest, I’m just as in love with the plot of it as I was back then. It’s the first fic I’ve tried using a supernatural element in, and I really, really like where it was going. I’ve got half of the next chapter stowed away in the depths of my hard drive, so in the next couple of days I’ll be tweaking it and polishing it up and getting back on the horse :’)
It would be this one, anon. I’ve found some absolutely incredible recipes for really complex, elaborate dishes and I love them so much, but this recipe for the most decadent chocolate cake that you make in the microwave is my favourite. I stumbled across it by accident, and I was super skeptical at first, but then I tried it and I’ve been addicted ever since. It uses things that you’d have in your cupboards and fridge anyway, and it’s ready in less than two minutes, and I’ve memorized the recipe to the point where I have it a couple times a week (or every day, if it’s exam season). For those nights when you just really want some fucking chocolate cake, this is your answer.
1. What are your three favourite movies?
That would have to be The History Boys, Star Trek XI, and Dead Poets Society, with Inception at a very close runner-up.
3. Name a sexual fantasy you have
It involves a kitchen, a 24-year-old librarian who has misplaced his sweatervest, and a week’s supply of groceries. Don’t worry about it.
7. What turns you on?
Not being a pretentious d-bag is usually pretty high up on my list. That and being able to cook. Or just being able to eat.
8. 5 favourite musical artists at this moment
The National, Sigur Rós, Stars, Iron & Wine, fun.
Someone who remembers the Tempe/Jason idea. Ohhh yes. I love this so much - and the idea of Gene and Snafu going all big-brother on him is so so so so so perfect. I can only imagine that Joe endorses this wholeheartedly.
I couldn’t get the boy to kill me, but I wore his jacket for the longest time.
I THINK IT WAS RIGHT BEFORE THAT FIRST BOB REWATCH? POSSIBLY? YOU WERE DRUNK AND THAT WAS WHEN I WAS ALL “I FOLLOW HER, LEMME CHECK THIS GIRL OUT” AND THEN THAT POST IN THE JUSTIFIED TAG AND HEAVY BALLS AND THE REST IS HISTORY, I’M YOUR BIGGEST FAN I FOLLOWED YOU UNTIL YOU LOVED ME.
I dunno, man, we’ve taken the creep pretty far. I’m feeling oddly proud of this.
I don’t really ship them, anon. But I absolutely love their relationship. It’s a dynamic that you don’t get to see all that often, and I think they’ve pulled it off really well. He’s her teacher who turned into a friend who then turned into a father-figure for her when she needs one. He was married to her mother, and then he dated her aunt, so he’s been around for a lot of important things. He knows all the stuff that goes on in that town and I thought that the new episode really built off of that beautifully.
HELLO, NEW FOLLOWER. Creepy is my native language, I speak it fluently and frequently. This is me right now, with what I call my Midnight Hair because it gets bigger and bigger as the night goes on and it’s kind of weird:
I actually do, anon! Most of my playlists are mixes that I’ve downloaded at various points in time, but quite a few are ones that I threw together for some reason or other (I’ve got 5 ‘packing’ playlists for various times I was getting ready to fly somewhere or leave for a weekend, there’s a handful of ‘cooking’ playlists, there’s even a ‘rainy day when the bus is late’ playlist). Sometimes they’re ones that I put together on the go while I was bored, or they’re just an amalgamation of my latest favourites. And not all the mixes are for shows or ships - like you said, there’s a bunch of ‘morning’ or ‘evening’ ones, there’s some ‘winter’ and ‘spring’ and ‘summer’ and ‘autumn’ ones, there’s ‘songs to cry to’ and ‘cheer up’ ones, and there’s 11 playlists dedicated to the ocean. But I’ve got nearly 400 playlists, so I can’t list them all!
